APPLICATION
Polyvinyl alcohol PVA is a water-soluble and biocompatible resin that is obtained from poly (vinyl acetate) through alkaline hydrolysis. It is usually a white or slight yellow floccules, flake, granular or powder in appearance. The main features are water-solubility, excellent film forming characteristics and high tensile strength.
Polyvinyl alcohol PVA used for in paper industry, a special paper, which can be ensured suitable surface treatment. PVA 1599 advantage as follows,
- Improved paper strength, including surface strength, folding resistanceand abrasion resistance.
- Improved paper smoothness
- Improved surface gloss
- Improved oil resistance and solvent resistance
PVA 1599 has a good performance in adhesion to the paper surface, forming a strong and elastic film on the paper surface, to ensure that paper does not fluff up when printed
